Big Sandy Lodge is remotely located at the end of the Big Sandy Opening Rd at the southern end of the Wind River Mountain Range. We're nestled in the forest in a very rustic setting, on the edge of a picturesque mountain lake. We have ten rustic log cabins available for rental which can accommodate up to 40 people total. Our rustic, one-room log cabins are furnished with bedding, towels, wood-burning stoves and kerosene lamps. There is no cell service, land lines or electricity, so here's your chance to really get away from it all and enjoy a relaxing vacation. Modern restroom and shower facilities are centrally located to the cabins.

Located on your way to Pinedale, and Teton, and Yellowstone National Parks, we invite you to enjoy your stay in one of our nine large, comfortable cabin-style rooms. They are clean, inviting, and conveniently located next to the bar and restaurant. Our rooms provide WIFI, satellite TV, refrigerators, microwaves, AC, and daily room service. Please inquire with the housekeeper about laundry services. We also have two pet-friendly rooms available with an extra fee. Livestock Boarding may be available for hunters.

The lodge sits at an elevation of 7,200 ft on the western side of the Wind River Range of the Rocky Mountains and is surrounded by the Bridger Teton National Forest. The historic Chambers House Bed & Breakfast was originally Pinedale's first school house, built in 1904. The school house now serves as the dining room. An addition was built in 1933 with logs from the local Wind River Mountain range. Located one block from Main Street, this gem is where travelers stay for a local experience. Daniel Junction Motel has 5 rooms available. We offer 3 rooms with a single queen bed, 1 room with two queen beds, and then we have a two-room suite that has two queen beds, a living area, and a kitchenette. Pet friendly with $25 fee.
Our RV Park has 18 spots with 50 amp service.

The Double JJ Ranch property features eight historic log cabins that can sleep up to twenty people. There is a community cookhouse that easily seats over twenty-five people. The cabins form a semi-circle around a large grassy yard that slopes gently toward a fishing pond with plenty of enclosed fireplaces for cocktails and smores. The views of the Green River Valley and the Wind River Range from the property are truly jaw dropping.
The barn will accommodate eighty people. We recommend renting a tent (see Vendors page) for parties over eighty. There is plenty of parking for you and your guests.
The Double JJ Ranch also has a cozy 1-bedroom cabin rentals available year round on AirBnB.
