Rodeo
Rodeos and Wyoming go hand in hand, after all our state mascot is a cowboy riding a saddle bronc. Sublette County, comes alive with the electrifying energy of rodeos, showcasing the timeless Western spirit. Among the notable events that epitomize the cowboy culture are the Rendezvous Rodeo (held the second full weekend in July) and Chuckwagon Days Rodeo (held over 4th of July). Our rodeos are steeped in tradition, bringing together local riders and spectators alike to celebrate the skill and bravery of cowboys and cowgirls. as they compete in bareback riding, bull riding, barrel racing, team roping, and saddle bronc riding. Both events offer a glimpse into Sublette County's rich ranching heritage, where the spirit of the frontier is kept alive through the pulse-pounding excitement of these iconic events. Other team ropings and barrel races are held throughout the year.
